Tragic fall from Lahore flyover claims couple’s lives

LAHORE(National Times)- A heartbreaking accident occurred near Akbar Chowk flyover in Faisal Town, Lahore, where a married couple riding a motorcycle fell from the bridge, resulting in both losing their lives. According to police reports, the 50-year-old woman, Abida Bano, died on the spot, while her husband, Muhammad Afzal, was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest the fall may have been caused by overspeeding or a possible collision with another vehicle. Police have completed legal procedures and handed the bodies over to the family. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
