Railways ministry orders high-level inquiry of Islamabad Express accident

ISLAMABAD(National Times)- The Ministry of Railways has decided to conduct a high-level inquiry into the derailment of Islamabad Express coaches. According to the ministry, the Federal Government Inspector of Railways has been directed to carry out the investigation and submit recommendations to prevent such incidents in the future. The accident occurred near Kala Shah Kaku, where four coaches of Islamabad Express derailed and five overturned, injuring multiple passengers and blocking the main railway line. As per the ministry’s notification, the inspector will immediately visit the accident site, determine the root cause of the derailment, and conduct a comprehensive investigation.
