PM Imran shares his govt’s three year performance report with nation

Islamabad(National Times): On completion of three years in power, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday shared his ‘three years performance report’ with the nation at a largely crowded gathering at Islamabad’s convention center.
Ceremony was aimed at giving an insight into the efforts of each ministry and division in facilitating the common man in line with the vision of “Naya Pakistan”.
Imran Khan walked to the stage in steady, confident manner and addressed the ceremony.
The Prime Minister, in his address, said that the path of ascension is the path of our holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Allah Almighty commands us to learn from the life of the holy Prophet (PBUH).
Recalling early days of his political career, he said that many mocked him and but he continued focusing on the hardships Holy Prophet (PBUH) faced but remained resolute.
Imran Khan also urged the country’s youth to learn from the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
At the beginning, he also greeted the newly elected Azad Jammu and Kashmir government representatives.
Addressing the youth, he said that youth must take on life as a challenge. “If the life is easy, that means you have no standing” he said.
Appreciating the armed forces, premier said that he is thankful to God for having this army.
“When India bombarded us at the middle on night, I realized then that if we did not have the kind of army that we rely on so much, what we would do before such a powerful opponent?” he recalled.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he made mistake by talking against armed forces in the past. “And this mafia that gave speeches against our army. I too have spoken out against the army in the past; everyone makes mistakes, but the aim is not to malign them.” He regretted.
He said that Indian lobby is behind this anti-army campaign. “We were able to answer Modi in his own tone, that if you try to do anything, you will be provided with a befitting response” He added, saying that all this was possible due to our armed forces.
