Ambassador Rahim Hayat Qureshi Meets Russian Ambassador to Belgium

Brussels (National Times) Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, H.E. Mr. Rahim Hayat Qureshi, met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Belgium, H.E. Mr. Aleksandr Tokovinin, for an exchange of views on key regional and global developments.

During the meeting, Ambassador Qureshi briefed his Russian counterpart on the deteriorating peace and security situation in South Asia, highlighting concerns over India’s recent belligerent posture and its impact on regional stability.

The two envoys also reviewed the current trajectory of Pakistan-Russia bilateral relations and discussed broader geopolitical issues of mutual interest. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of sustained dialogue and cooperation to promote regional peace and global security.
