Overseas Pakistanis demand restoration of self-financed MBBS seats

Mardan(National Times): Overseas Pakistani on Sunday demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to restore the foreign Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Engineering self finance seats.
Talking to Online, Engineer Naeem Shamshir a resident of Jamal Garhi Mardan, who is currently living in Canada and Saeed Khan Resident of Swat currently living in Canada said that overseas Pakistanis feel proud of Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Imran Khan is working hard for the sake of our country”, they added.
They said that however overseas Pakistanis are concerned that for the first time in Pakistan’s history foreign MBBS and Engineering self finance seats were taken away from us.
They quoted PM Imran Khan as saying that overseas are assets of Pakistan Threek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan.
They added that overseas students once apply for their equivalency about 10 percent and or more marks are deducted by IBCC which we believe is not fair and now since that foreign quota was taken away, it will make harder for overseas Pakistanis students to compete as local students.
They requested the Prime Minister Imran Khan to restore those foreign self-finance seats.
