73rd death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam observed

ISLAMABAD(National Times): The 73rd death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Father of the Nation, was observed Saturday
.
Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah passed away on 11th September 1948 shortly after achieving freedom for the nation.
To mark the day, a special ceremony of Quran Khawani and Fateha was held at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi .
People from different walks of life will visit the mausoleum to lay floral wreath on his grave.

Opposition leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif said let us pledge to translate vision of Quaid-e-Azam into reality. We will have to work hard to make Pakistan a modern Islamic welfare state by seeking guidance from Quaid-e-Azam thoughts.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said Pakistan will become a welfare state at every cost as per Quaid-d-Azam vision.

Quaid-e-Azam gave Muslims of sub continent a separate identity by creating a state in the form of Pakistan, he added.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said every Pakistani will have to play one’s role to make Pakistan reflective of Quaid-e-Azam vision.
