Two killed, 15 injured in Winder accident

KHUZDAR(National Times)- Two people were killed and 15 others injured when a passenger coach collided head-on with an LPG bowser near Kharkhera Customs on the main National Highway in Winder on Monday.

According to police, the accident occurred when the passenger coach travelling from Karachi to Quetta collided with an LPG bowser coming from the opposite direction near Kharkhera Customs.

Drivers of both vehicles were killed on the spot. The LPG bowser driver was identified as Muhammad Tariq, a resident of Noshki, while the passenger coach driver was identified as Daulat Khan.

The condition of four of the 15 injured people was stated to be serious. The injured were provided initial medical treatment in Winder and later taken to Karachi for further treatment.
