Three Afghans killed in shooting on car in Quetta

QUETTA(National Times)- Three Afghan nationals were gunned down on the outskirts of Quetta on Tuesday evening, police said.

Initial investigation revealed they were heading to Gulistan area of Qila Abduallah from Dalbandin in a car when armed men opened fire on the vehicle in Main Ghundi area and fled. The three people were killed on the spot while another was injured, a senior police official said.

The bodies and the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital, where the injured man told police all of them were Afghan nationals.

Meanwhile, two men found shot dead in Kharan district were shifted to district hospital, where one of them was identified as Ghulam Haider. The other body was subsequently kept at the mortuary for identification.
