Two bodies found in Mastung

QUETTA(National Times)- Two unidentified bodies were found near the Sheikh Wassil area of Mastung on Sunday.

According to police, the bodies were shifted to a hospital and later placed in the morgue for identification. They said further investigation into the incident is underway.

In another incident, in Kech district, some unidentified armed men opened fire on police personnel deployed for security of optic fibre workers carrying out cable repair work. The firing left one policeman injured. He was taken to a hospital.

In another incident, a bomb exploded near a bridge on the N-25 National Highway in the Surab area, causing minor damage to the bridge structure.

Security personnel cordoned off the area, suspended traffic on the highway and collected evidence from the site. After completing security measures, traffic flow was restored on the highway.
