Three mutilated bodies found in Chagai

QUETTA(National Times)- Three unidentified and badly mutilated bodies were recovered from the Siyah Jang area of Chagai district and shifted to Prince Fahad Hospital in Dalbandin after initial legal formalities, officials said on Thursday.

According to hospital authorities, the bodies were in such a severely disfigured condition that immediate identification was not possible.

Medical Superintendent of Prince Fahad Hospital, Dr Lowang Khan Essa Zai, said the identities of the deceased would be confirmed after the completion of forensic and medico-legal examinations.

Dalbandin Assistant Commissioner Tahir Khan Sanjrani said the bodies would be shifted to Quetta for further forensic analysis and identification procedures.

Initial reports suggest that the bodies may be those of employees of Reko Diq Mining Company who were allegedly abducted on May 17, 2026.
