PM Prioritizing Digital Inclusion in AJK and GB, Shaza

Islamabad (GNP):-  Shaza Fatima Khawaja , Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication said prime minister is giving special attention to Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan to ensure their inclusion in the country’s digital growth.

She was talking to Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Justice retired Yar Muhammad Nasir, and GB Minister for IT Ghulam Abbas who called.

Both sides held detailed discussions on the Digital Nation Pakistan initiative, including the preparation and implementation of the National Digital Master Plan.

They agreed to accelerate a comprehensive digitalization strategy across the country, with a focus on ensuring uniform digital development in all four provinces, as well as Gilgit-Baltistan.

The federal minister directed the Pakistan Digital Authority to formulate a comprehensive plan aimed at creating employment opportunities for youth in Gilgit-Baltistan and boosting the digital economy in the region.
