PM Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Erdogan Agree on Close Contact for Regional Cooperation

Islamabad (National Times) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation, agreeing to maintain close contact for mutual interests and regional cooperation.
Both leaders exchanged Eid greetings and prayed for peace and prosperity for the Muslim Ummah. They emphasized that regional tensions should be resolved through diplomacy and discussed Afghanistan’s situation, acknowledging Turkey’s role in facilitating a temporary ceasefire.
