Woman killed, son injured in Arifwala road accident

ARIFWALA(National Times)- A woman was killed and her son sustained injuries when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a bus in Arifwala, a city in Pakpattan District in the Punjab province, on Wednesday. According to details, the accident occurred at the Burewala Road in Arifwala, were a rashly driven bus hit a motorcycle, killing a woman on the spot while her son sustained critical injuries. Police and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. Meanwhile, police have seized the bus and started investigation. The dead body was later handed over to the deceased’s heirs after completing the necessary legal formalities.
