Aleema says Imran’s full medical report not given in court, urges immediate treatment at Shifa International

RAWALPINDI(National Times)- Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, said the court has not been provided with his complete medical report. In a statement from the federal capital, she accused the Interior Minister of lying on television and said they do not trust the government’s statements. She urged that Imran Khan be immediately taken to Shifa International Hospital for treatment, with family members present during his treatment. She noted that they proposed his personal doctor, Dr Asim, whose appointment was rejected. Aleema Khan warned that if urgent medical treatment is not provided, the scope of their protest will expand. She said Imran Khan’s life is in danger and emphasized that he has always maintained he does not want to take part in anyone’s war. She further said that Imran Khan has consistently advocated for dialogue over conflict, warning that some forces aim to create division among Muslims, while he believes peace comes through discussion, not war.
