Imran Khan undergoes eye examination at Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI(National Times)- Former prime minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan underwent an eye examination at Adiala Jail on Tuesday, prison sources confirmed. According to officials, a joint team of doctors from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital visited the jail to carry out a follow-up medical check-up. The medical team included retina specialist Dr Nadeem Qureshi, along with ophthalmologists Dr Arif and Dr Ausal. The doctors examined the former prime minister after arriving at the prison facility and later departed upon completion of the assessment. Sources said the team was accompanied by a vehicle equipped with modern medical equipment to facilitate the examination. Assistance was also provided by doctors and staff at the jail hospital during the procedure. Prison authorities described the visit as a routine follow-up check-up. No further details regarding the outcome of the examination were immediately disclosed.
