Recent attacks on Iran extremely regrettable: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD(National Times)- Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Sunday said that said that the recent attacks on Iran are extremely regrettable which left every Pakistani deeply saddened. In a message on X, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan has supported Iran through every possible diplomatic and moral means. He said that Pakistan also condemned the attacks against Iran at the United Nations as well. He appealed to the religious parties in Pakistan and the public to demonstrate patience. Khawaja Asif further said that if the protests turned violent or people take the law into their own hands, it would only benefit the enemies of Pakistan. It is everyone’s responsibility to keep their emotions under control, he said. The Defense Minister also stated that protests should remain peaceful and added that any kind of unrest should be avoided.
