Rawalpindi (National Times) Pakistan’s operation “Ghazzab Lil Haq” continues along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in response to unprovoked attacks by the Afghan Taliban regime. According to security sources, Pakistani forces have been targeting Taliban posts selectively, destroying multiple enemy positions. The Afghan regime attempted an attack on Pakistani check posts using quadcopters, which was foiled by timely action from security forces. Shelling with both small and heavy weapons continues, and preliminary reports indicate that several Taliban fighters have been killed. Drone strikes are also being used to target Taliban positions precisely.
The Afghan Taliban carried out indiscriminate firing at multiple points along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, which was met with a swift and effective response by Pakistani security forces. Taliban forces were dealt a decisive blow in the Chitral, Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram, and Bajaur sectors. Pakistani forces destroyed a Taliban check post in Chitral, demolished two Taliban outposts in Bajaur, and responded forcefully in the Nawagai, Tirah (Khyber), Mohmand, and Arandu sectors. The Ministry of Information stated that Pakistan will take all necessary measures to safeguard its territorial integrity and ensure the protection and security of its citizens.
Pakistani soldiers stationed along the border remain committed to defending the motherland. Troops in the Bajaur sector reported that firing resumed from the Afghan side during the night. In retaliation, several terrorist positions, particularly those of the Afghan Taliban, were targeted and destroyed. Soldiers stated: “Our nation fears no one. Anyone who challenges us at India’s behest will pay a heavy price. Pakistan knows how to defend itself.”
Security sources confirmed that Operation Ghazzab Lil Haq is ongoing, with drone strikes continuing to precisely hit Taliban posts. Preliminary reports indicate that between 22 and 30 Taliban fighters have been killed. Shelling with small and heavy arms remains underway to ensure full security and control along the border.
