Dar leaves for Saudi Arabia to attend OIC moot on Israel’s illegal measures

ISLAMABAD(National times)- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday departed here for a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the Open-Ended Extraordinary Ministerial Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. The ministerial session will be held tonight at the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah. The meeting has been convened to consider the illegal decisions of the Israeli occupation authorities aimed at expanding settlements, pursuing annexation, and attempting to impose Israeli sovereignty over the Occupied West Bank. Besides sharing Pakistan’s perspective on the latest illegal measures by Israel to convert areas of the Occupied West Bank into so-called “state land” at the session, the deputy prime minister will also hold sideline bilateral meetings with his counterparts from OIC member states.
