Final schedule of PM Shehbaz’s visit to Russia revealed

MOSCOW(National times)- The final schedule of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to Russia has been released, outlining key diplomatic, economic, and cultural engagements from March 2 to 5. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in Moscow on March 2, accompanied by Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar. A high-level government and business delegation will also be part of the visit. On March 3, the prime minister will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and hold an important meeting at the Kremlin with Russian President Vladimir Putin. High-level consultations on Pakistan-Russia strategic partnership are expected, with discussions focusing on energy cooperation, oil and gas, trade expansion, steel mills revival, industrial collaboration, and enhancement of banking channels.

Later that evening, Prime Minister Sharif will attend an iftar with Pakistani students and address them. On March 4, he will participate in the Pakistan-Russia Business Forum, where around 90 Pakistani companies are expected to take part. The prime minister will also visit the land of the Pakistani Embassy and the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. The same evening, the delegation will depart for Saint Petersburg. On March 5, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to hold a high-level meeting there and visit the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood as well as the Hermitage Museum. The prime minister will conclude his visit on March 5 and return to Pakistan with his delegation.
