Five terrorists killed as CTD foils major terror bid in Pishin

PISHIN(National times)- At least five terrorists were killed in encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel in Pishin, a city in Balochistan province, on Sunday. According to CTD sources, a gun battle took place between security forces and terrorists near the Surkhab Muhajir Camp during which the security forces eliminated five terrorists. Sources further stated that the terrorists had been planning to attack the Police Lines and Cadet College. Weapons and explosive materials were also recovered from their vehicle. Meanwhile, CTD spokesperson stated that operations will continue in the area until the elimination of miscreants.
