Ambassador Rahim Hayat Meets Senior European Parliament Officials to Strengthen Pakistan–EU Ties

Brussels (National Times) Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, held a high-level meeting with Pietro Ducci, Director General for External Policies of the Union at the European Parliament, to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the Ambassador also engaged with Filipe Alcobia de Moraes, a team member of the Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with South Asian States.
The discussions focused on exchanging constructive views aimed at deepening Pakistan–European Union relations across multiple sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening inter-parliamentary exchanges as a key mechanism for fostering mutual understanding, expanding institutional collaboration, and advancing shared strategic interests.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular dialogue and building upon the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and the European Union.
