Sharjeel Memon prays for early recovery of PTI founder

KARACHI(National times)- Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday prayed for early recovery of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan. Speaking in the Sindh assembly, Sharjeel Memon said that the PTI founder is reaping what he sowed. He added that if any politician lies or levels false allegations, action should be taken against them. He said no one can be scandalized without evidence just to please the public from a stage. During his speech, he also played a video on his mobile phone and claimed that workers of Jamaat-e-Islami pelted stones at the police. He questioned how anyone could assault the police anywhere in the world, asking whether police officers are not human beings. Sharjeel Memon further stated that Shahrah-e-Faisal cannot be closed without government permission. He expressed regret over alleged police violence against a Member of the Assembly. He informed that the SHO had been suspended, and added that the government would also be asked to take action against SSP Fida Janwari.
