Two die, 12 injured in Bannu blast

Bannu(National times)- Two people were killed and 12 others injured in a bomb blast near Miryan Police Station here on Monday. According to police, the explosive material was placed on a motorcycle. Police and law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and are collecting evidence. The injured were immediately rushed to hospital for medical treatment, with several in critical condition. Bannu DIG Sajad Khan said the police personnel remained safe in the blast, and the building of police station did not damage. Investigations were ongoing, and the culprits would be arrested soon, he added.
