Kashmiris will soon see the dawn of freedom: Maryam Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE(National times)- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed confidence that the people of Kashmir will soon witness the dawn of freedom, despite decades of oppression. In her message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Maryam Nawaz said that love for Kashmir flows like blood in the heart of every Pakistani. She paid tribute to the Kashmiri martyrs who sacrificed their lives to keep the flame of self-determination alive. She praised the resilience of Kashmiris who have bravely faced Indian brutality for more than seven decades, stating that Indian aggression has turned the once-paradise valley into a prison. CM Maryam Nawaz reaffirms support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination The Punjab chief minister called on the United Nations and other global institutions to play their legal role against human rights violations in Kashmir. She warned that lasting peace in the region would remain a dream without a sustainable solution to the Kashmir issue. Maryam Nawaz reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue its diplomatic, political, and moral support for Kashmiris and will raise their voice at every international forum
