Eleven judges to take oath as permanent LHC judges today

LAHORE(National Times)- Eleven judges who have been made permanent at the Lahore High Court will take oath of their offices today. The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court will administer the oath to the newly confirmed judges.The judges being confirmed include Justice Hassan Nawaz Makhdum and Justice Malik Waqar Haider Awan, along with Justice Sardar Ali Akbar and Justice Ahsan Raza Kazmi, Justice Malik Javed Iqbal Venus, Justice Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Malik Awais Khalid and Justice Sultan Mahmood.

Judicial Commission approves permanent appointment of three Islamabad High Court judges

Other judges taking oath as permanent members of the Lahore High Court include Justice Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh and Justice Abhar Gul Khan.
