Doctor’s negligence claims life of 13-year-old boy in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD(National times)- A 13-year-old boy died due to the alleged negligence of a doctor at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Abbottabad on Tuesday, Dunya News reported. According to details, Hasnain Ali was brought to the hospital with appendicitis, where he underwent a surgery. However, he did not regain consciousness for four days and eventually passed away. Upon receiving news of the boy’s death, the heirs became enraged and staged a protest by placing the body of the boy at DHQ Hospital. Due to the intense protest, the doctor managed to flee from the scene. The protesters demanded the immediate arrest of the doctor. The bereaved family said that 13-year-old Hasnain Ali was the only brother of three sisters. Police have registered an FIR against the doctor.
