Minister accuses PTI of propagating against institutions

ISLAMABAD(National times)- Interior State Minister Talal Chaudhry has alleged that the PTI is involved in doing propaganda against the state institutions. Talal Chaudhry, while speaking on Dunya News Programme ‘Tonight with Samar Abbas’, said intelligence-based operations are taking place in the Tirah Valley, no major military operation is taking place there. “If Sohail Afridi wants to meet the founder of PTI, the decision will be made by the jail authorities. These people do not go to meet him but to make TikToks,” the minister said. “If you want to hold negotiations, you should go to the Speaker’s office,” the PML-N leader said. Asked whether to send the Pakistani team to the World Cup or not, Talal Chaudhry said the decision will be made considering the interests of the country and cricket.

Govt rejects Tirah Valley evacuation claims as misleading

Earlier, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar on Saturday said that covert, intelligence-based operations are continuing in the Tirah Valley and urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to avoid what he called “false claims” about the situation on the ground. Speaking to reporters in Kot Momin, Tarar said the federal government had taken notice of what he described as misleading propaganda related to the Tirah Valley. He added that Rs 4 billion had been set aside for families who chose voluntary relocation from the area.
