DPM Dar Meets Finnish FM on Sidelines of WEF 2026

Davos (National Times): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday met with Finnish Foreign Minister H.E. Elina Valtonen on the sidelines of the 26th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos.

During the meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Finland, particularly in the areas of trade and investment.

They also exchanged views on key regional and global developments of mutual interest. Both sides emphasized the importance of advancing a forward-looking, comprehensive, and mutually beneficial partnership based on shared interests and enhanced economic engagement.

The meeting underscored Pakistan’s continued efforts to deepen diplomatic and economic ties with European partners on the margins of major international forums.
