Further extension in winter vacations for Punjab schools ruled out

LAHORE(National times)- The Punjab government has issued a clarification regarding reports of further holidays in public and private schools across the province.Earlier, winter vacations in Punjab schools were extended by one week on January 10. However, Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat has made it clear that there will be no further extension in winter holidays. He said that all public and private schools in Punjab will reopen as per schedule next week, dismissing rumours circulating on social media about additional closures.
