Suicide attempt survivor shows remarkable recovery, spine surgery planned

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A female student of a private university who attempted suicide is gradually returning to life, as her condition continues to improve. According to the Medical Board, the patient’s health is now significantly better and stable. Her spinal vertebrae surgery is expected to take place on Monday morning. Chairman of the Medical Board, Professor Jodat Saleem, stated that the student has been breathing on her own for the past two days without ventilator or oxygen support. He further added that, under specific medical conditions, communication with the family has also been initiated.
