Punjab extends driving licensing center hours, citizens can now get e-licenses 24/7

LAHORE(National Times)- The Punjab provincial traffic authorities have extended the operating hours of driving licensing centers across the province. According to the traffic police spokesperson, citizens must first obtain a learning license through the online portal or by visiting a licensing center. After completing the mandatory 42-day period, applicants can immediately obtain a regular license. Drivers passing the test can also download the e-driving license, which holds equal validity as a traditional card license. For public convenience, licensing centers in smaller cities will now operate from 8:00 AM to midnight, while centers in larger cities are open 24 hours daily, with services available without interruption. The traffic police emphasized that holding a valid driving license is essential for safe travel.
