Chaudhry Shafay seeks performance report of PTI government ministers

LAHORE(National times)- Minister for Industries and Commerce of Punjab Chaudhry Shafay Hussain has sought the performance report of ministers of the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government. Speaking at a ceremony, Shafay Hussain said that ministers of the previous government should explain what they accomplished during four years when they were in power. He alleged that corruption during the PTI tenure was unprecedented, claiming that money was taken for transfers, postings, and recruitments. Shafay Hussain said that PTI is in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the past 12 years, yet not a single general hospital could be built there. He added that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has worked in Punjab and that such a cleanliness system has never been seen before. The provincial minister further stated that a crackdown against illegal housing societies is being launched in Punjab.
