Winter vacations announced for all educational institutions across Punjab

LAHORE(National times)- The Punjab government has officially announced winter vacations for all educational institutions across the province. According to a notification issued by the School Education Department, winter holidays will be observed from December 22 to January 11. As per the notification, all government and private schools will remain closed until January 10. Since January 11 falls on a Sunday, it will be observed as a regular weekly holiday. Educational institutions will reopen on Monday, January 12. The decision has been taken in view of the prevailing cold weather conditions across Punjab to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. The notification applies uniformly to all public and private educational institutions, including primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools. Parents and students have been advised to take note of the schedule and plan accordingly. Education authorities have also directed school administrations to ensure strict compliance with the announced vacation dates.
