Speeding heavy vehicles claim three more lives in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least three persons were killed in separate road accidents, involving heavy vehicles, in Karachi on late Wednesday night, Dunya News reported. According to details, the first accident occurred near Surjani 4K Chowrangi where a speeding water tanker ran over a motorcycle, killing a youngster on the spot. The deceased was identified as Abid who was first year student. The second accident took place at the Sher Shah Bridge where a dumper collided with a motorcycle, killing 29-year-old Nasreen on the spot and critically injuring her husband. The third accident occurred near Fareed Colony area of Orangi Town where a four-year-old boy was crushed to death by a rashly driven water tanker. Police have seized the water tanker and arrested its driver.
