LAHORE(National times)- The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested 12 terrorists linked to India’s intelligence agency, RAW, and seized a large cache of weapons, explosives, detonators, IEDs, and cash. CTD officials said photographs, videos, and location data of sensitive sites and institutions were recovered from the possession of terrorists. Among the seized materials were images and video footage of a madrassa and a local fair. The terrorists were reportedly planning to spread fear and religious hatred in Punjab. Arrested individuals included Deep Singh, Azmat, Faizan, Nabeel Ibrar, and Usman Sarfraz from Lahore, and Danish from Faisalabad. In Bahawalpur, the CTD apprehended members of a group called ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’ – Raja, Hashim, Saqib, and Arif. The department also revealed that an Indian-based Facebook ID, reportedly operated by RAW, played a significant role in coordinating these operations. Authorities stated that the terrorists were funded by RAW to execute their activities.
