Governor’s rule will be an extreme step, says Khaqan Abbasi

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said the governor’s rule is an extreme step; if it is imposed in KP for poor governance, it should also be imposed in other provinces as their situation is not different from that of KP. Addressing a ceremony at the Peshawar Press Club in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that it is unfortunate that the country’s constitutional heads are standing opposite each other. “Leaders have become parties in the country, the federation and the provinces should tolerate each other, our goal in politics is the welfare of the country and the country’s progress, the goal is not a chair, the goal is to serve the people and the country. “There is only one way for the country to develop, and that the country should follow the constitution and law. The only solution to the failure of the system and the problems is the abolition of the constitution and law. “Pakistan is a country whose greatest asset is its youth, and the youth want education, employment, and business opportunities,” the former PM added. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said where there is no political stability, there will be no investment. We talk about connecting the country, this is the need of Pakistan, we all have to work together for its development, it is not just a matter of one person and one party, everyone should play their role together, I hope the youth of Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also work together with us, he said. It is the duty of all of us to respect each other, we cannot accept the deterioration of the country, the 27th Amendment is a black mark on the politicians of Pakistan, time will come when all parties will try to bring back the amendments, he commented.
