Punjab schools to observe winter holidays from December 22

LAHORE(National times)- The Punjab government has officially announced winter holidays for all educational institutions across the province. According to a notification issued by the provincial Education Department, schools will close for winter break on December 22, 2025, giving students a short holiday to rest and recharge. All schools are scheduled to reopen on January 10, 2026, marking the resumption of regular classes and the continuation of the academic term. Officials stated that the decision is part of the annual schedule to ensure students and staff have a well-deserved break during the colder months.
