Punjab Education Dept updates STI schedule with fresh merit, interview dates

LAHORE(National times)- The Punjab School Education Department has released a revised schedule for the ongoing recruitment of School Teacher Interns (STIs), outlining fresh dates for merit lists, interviews, objections, and final appointments. The updated timeline for STIs is intended to enhance transparency and help applicants monitor each stage of the process more effectively. According to new updates the first merit list will be posted on school notice boards on December 3, allowing candidates to check their standings and prepare for the upcoming phases. Candidates intending to file objections may do so at their respective tehsil offices on December 4 and 5. Each complaint will be reviewed thoroughly to ensure a fair and unbiased recruitment process. Applicants shortlisted after objections will undergo interviews on December 6 and 7. During the interviews, officials will assess academic credentials, teaching skills, and overall suitability for positions in public schools across Punjab. The final merit list will be released on December 8, available on both school notice boards and the official STI online portal. Appointment orders for selected candidates will be issued through the portal on December 9, concluding the recruitment cycle. Authorities have advised candidates and school administration to strictly adhere to the updated schedule to maintain an efficient and orderly hiring process.
