Ali Larijani’s Pakistan visit confirmed

TEHRAN(National times)- Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Mudassir Tipu has confirmed the visit of Iran’s National Security Adviser to Pakistan. In a statement on social platform X, the ambassador said that Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and representative of the Supreme Leader Ali Larijani, is visiting Pakistan as part of the ongoing and wide-ranging engagement between the two countries. The ambassador noted that the purpose of the visit is to further strengthen bilateral relations, adding that the trip will enhance Pakistan–Iran cooperation. Before departing for Pakistan, Ali Larijani said in a message that he was leaving for Pakistan, which he described as a friendly and brotherly nation in the region. Iran’s National Security Adviser added that the Iranian nation would never forget how the people of Pakistan stood by them, particularly during the war imposed by the United States and the Zionist regime. He further said that Iran and Pakistan are two key and influential countries contributing to lasting regional security, and that Iran remains focused on maintaining fraternal ties with all neighbouring states.
