Brussels (National Times) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Sri Lanka’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment, Arun Hemachandra, on 21 November 2025 on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening their longstanding fraternal relations through high-level exchanges and agreed on the need to build on the deep goodwill between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The ministers discussed expanding cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including trade and investment, tourism, culture, education, defence, agriculture, and human resource development.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close collaboration, both bilaterally and within multilateral fora, to further advance shared interests.
