Pakistan, Slovenia Sign MoU to Enhance Bilateral Political Consultations

Brussels (National Times) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign & European Affairs, Tanja Fajon, on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional and global developments. The two sides also signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a formal mechanism for Bilateral Political Consultations between Pakistan and Slovenia.
Senator Dar invited Minister Fajon to Islamabad for the inaugural round of consultations and encouraged Slovenia to participate in the Pak-EU Business Forum scheduled for April 2026.
Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular engagement—bilaterally and through multilateral platforms—to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
