Brussels (National Times) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels. The two Ministers reviewed the full range of bilateral cooperation, including political, economic, trade, cultural, defence ties, and people-to-people exchanges, and also discussed regional and global developments while emphasizing continued engagement at multilateral platforms.
They signed the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation under the Stipendium Hungaricum Program for 2026–2028, which provides 400 annual scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue higher studies in Hungary. Both sides reaffirmed close coordination to expedite pending agreements aimed at further strengthening Pakistan–Hungary cooperation.
