Supreme Court Bar condemns Islamabad blast, vows support for security forces

ISLAMABAD(National times)- The Supreme Court Bar Association has strongly condemned the blast outside the Judicial Complex in Islamabad and expressed solidarity with the security forces. The Bar demanded that those responsible be brought to justice without delay. It is noteworthy that the Punjab Bar Council has also announced a strike across all subordinate courts in the province today (Wednesday) and has called for foolproof security arrangements in all courts. The Islamabad Bar has announced a three-day strike, while the Balochistan Bar will boycott court proceedings today as well. Meanwhile, the Punjab Home Department has placed the entire province on high alert. In view of possible terrorist threats, the Punjab Home Department has directed preemptive security measures and ordered increased vigilance in sensitive, important, and densely populated areas.
