Funeral prayers for Senator Irfan Siddiqui offered in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD(National times)- Funeral prayers for senior PML-N leader and Senator Irfan Siddiqui were offered at H-11 graveyard in Islamabad on Tuesday. A large number of family members, relatives, and dignitaries attended the funeral to pay their last respects. His sons Imran Siddiqui, Nauman Siddiqui, and brother Shahid Siddiqui were present, along with Federal Ministers Azam Nazeer Tarar and Chaudhry Salik Hussain. Senator Nasir Butt, Saleem Mandviwalla, and several other political figures also took part in the prayers. People from all walks of life, including journalists, writers, and political leaders, joined hands in mourning the loss of the veteran politician, scholar, and columnist. Many said his passing leaves a void that will be hard to fill.
