Tarar hopes terrorist attacks from Afghan soil will stop now

ISLAMABAD(National times)- Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Thursday said that ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghan Taliban has been finalized and expressed the hope that terrorist attacks against Pakistan from Afghan soil will no longer take place. Talking exclusively with Dunya News, Attaullah Tarar said that the Afghan Taliban have agreed to cease terrorist activities, and added that the ceasefire agreement also includes actions against the Fitna al-Khawarij by the Afghan Taliban. He informed that any party that violates the ceasefire will be penalized. He further said that the whole world is aware of the attacks on Pakistan and the support terrorist groups were receiving against the country. He expressed the hope that normalcy will return in the coming days. The Federal Minister emphasized that the agreement validates Pakistan’s position and represents a victory for its narrative.
