Nations burdened by debt cannot progress: CM Gandapur

PESHAWAR(National times)- Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur on Wednesday said that nations burdened by debt cannot make progress as high debt servicing costs divert funds from vital development sectors. Speaking at a ceremony, Chief Minister Gandapur said that we have put the entire nation at stake for the sake of national interest. He said that problems can only be resolved through the implementation and following of laws. He further said that our biggest task is to fulfill our responsibilities toward the people. A time will come when the problems will be resolved, and we will only need to focus on legislation. Unfortunately, we have failed to fulfill our responsibilities, he said.
