Balochistan board declares intermediate results with 90.3pc success rate

QUETTA(National times)- The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has declared the results of the intermediate examinations. According to Chairman Mohammad Ishaq, a total of 101,193 candidates appeared in the exams this year, out of which 91,400 students were successful. The overall pass percentage stood at 90.3 percent.

First Year

In the first year, 46,737 candidates sat for the examination. Out of these, the board reported that 86.4 percent managed to secure passing marks, reflecting strong performance from students across the province.

Second Year

For the second year, 54,456 students took part in the examinations. A total of 51,037 were declared successful, with an impressive pass rate of 93.7 percent, making it the highest percentage across both levels.

Top positions

Chairman Ishaq further announced the names of the top achievers. Abdul Mateen from Government Inter College Harmzai secured first position with 1,051 marks.
