Cellular services to remain suspended in Balochistan on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal

QUETTA(National times)- Cell phone services across Balochistan will remain suspended on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, falling on September 6, as part of security measures taken by the provincial government to maintain law and order on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) , Dunya News reported on Thursday. The Balochistan Home Department has sent a letter to the PTA through the Federal Ministry of Interior, requesting to suspend 3G and 4G services across the province from 5:00pm on September 5 until 9:00pm on September 6. The PTCL and NTC wireless internet services will also remain suspended in Noshki, Khuzdar, Mastung, Sibi, and Quetta. The decision to suspend the services has been made due to security concerns.
