Train service from Balochistan resumes after two-day suspension

QUETTA(National times)- Train service from Balochistan resumed today (Wednesday) after a two-day suspension. According to a Pakistan Railways statement, the Jaffer Express will depart from Quetta today for Peshawar, while the inbound Jaffer Express from Peshawar is expected to arrive in Quetta this evening. Additionally, the Bolan Mail coming from Karachi will reach Quetta tomorrow. The train service had been suspended for two days due to heavy rainfall in the country. According to a National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) report, at least 802 people have died and 1,088 have been injured due to torrential rains and flash floods since June 26.
