EU Expresses Condolences Over Pakistan Flood Tragedy; Pakistani Embassy Responds With Gratitude

Brussels (National Times) The European Union has extended its heartfelt condolences to Pakistan following the devastating floods and landslides that have claimed numerous lives and displaced many across the country.

In an official statement, the EU expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and widespread destruction caused by the natural disaster. “The EU is deeply saddened by the loss of lives in Pakistan following the severe flooding and landslides. Our sincere condolences go to the people of Pakistan and the families affected by this tragedy,” the statement read.

The Pakistani Embassy responded with appreciation, acknowledging the EU’s show of solidarity during a time of national mourning. “We thank the EU for its expression of solidarity with the people of Pakistan during this difficult time. The condolences extended to the victims and their families are deeply valued,” the Embassy noted.

The disaster has triggered a wave of international sympathy, with humanitarian agencies and global partners preparing to mobilize aid for affected regions in Pakistan.
